One day I was trying very hard to read and became successful. It was very quiet and I looked at book after book trying to read. All I could do with a book was look at the pages. I tried so very hard but never understood. I started looking for words I recognized but I didn't know how to spell a single word. I had to try and sound out. It was easier than I thought. I was doing it. I was so excited I dropped the book and ran around the room!
